We framed the gable roof with a 12-16” overhang for added coverage and durability. By integrating the roof framing directly into the house, we created a stable and cohesive structure that seamlessly matched the home.
Electrical and Plumbing: To enhance the porch’s functionality, we installed an overhead fan with a new switch and re-routed both the sprinkler system and gas line for optimal placement. The team also adjusted the sump pump line to accommodate the new deck posts, keeping everything running smoothly.
Finishing Touches: Our craftsmen installed a beautiful cedar ceiling and an innovative screen system that completely encloses the porch, keeping insects and debris out. Gayle and Doug chose a metal-railed deck with stairs that connected to the garden.
